Designated Drivers for the Holidays

Designated Drivers Against Drinking Drivers

As the holiday season is approaching, so are Holiday Parties and that means seasonal celebrating. Any time that a group of people goes out to drink, whether it’s a planned celebration or an informal meeting, having a designated driver is always important and should be part of your evening plan. What everyone should know is that there are different ways to choose a designated driver. In the GTA there is a company called DDADD (Designated Drivers Against Drinking Drivers). Here is how it works, it’s quite simple. If you have been drinking and do not feel that it is safe to drive your car home, call DDADD. They will dispatch a team of two drivers to your pickup point. Their cars are recognized with their logo and the drivers by uniform (black vest with logo). The drivers will meet with the customer and pickup their keys. If needed, the driver will warm up the vehicle and clear off any snow accumulation. They will then be on their way with a safe ride home while the second driver follows behind.
